**Burnout prevention and recovery** are supported when we step away from screens and engage our hands and minds - creating art is a simple, powerful way to relax, reconnect, and recharge. On **December 12th, Friday** at **1.25 pm**, we’ll meet in **de Boomsspijker** for a creative workshop guided by **[Mon](https://www.linkedin.com/in/mmonko/)**. We'll ease into drawing with some warm-up exercises, then move on to light art therapy-inspired prompts and sharing our stories. The session will be in the **Activity Room 2.1**. When you enter the building, go to the left, take the stairs up to the second floor, cross the glass doors, and it will be the first room to the left. Once everyone arrives, we will get introduced, settle in, and start the session. Please arrive a few minutes early. **✨ Good to know:** * All levels welcome. You don’t need any prior art or drawing experience to enjoy this. * Feel free to ask for guidance at any point. * Sharing your art or story is completely voluntary. * Focus on feeling, not technique. We will only discuss the emotional and symbolic layers of your work, not the technical execution. ⚠️ **Important information** This is a donation-based event. A minimum contribution is requested to cover the venue and materials, and anything you choose to give above that is a gesture of gratitude for the facilitator. Donations will be arranged after the session via Tikkie or cash. 🎨 **About the facilitator** [Monika (Mon) Monko](https://www.linkedin.com/in/mmonko/) is a visual creative, designer, and facilitator who found her way back to art after struggling with burnout, depression, and a late ADHD diagnosis. Through [Flock & Doodle](https://flockanddoodle.com/), Mon helps others unwind, escape the doomscrolling trap, and discover their innate creativity. **📝 Community guidelines** * If you **RSVP**, **please attend**. 💛 * If you need to cancel within **24 hours** before the event, reach out to me directly. After **two late cancellations or no-shows without notice**, or if **you don’t show up to your first** **event**, you’ll be **removed from the community.** 💔 * **Arrive on time** (a few minutes early is ideal). ⏰ * For **casual events**: stay as long or as little as you like, just let us know. For **workshops**: stay for the entire session. 🌿 * Be fully present and keep your **phones tucked away.** 📵 * You don’t need to be on burnout leave to join, but this is a community centered around **burnout prevention and recovery**. 🌸 * Be **kind and respectful**; any harmful or unsafe behavior will lead to being asked to leave and removed from the community. 🚫
